Brightening Life with Creativity,
one day at a time...
I am starting a new series of classes at a local quilt store this fall. Every month, we will make a different row of blocks that focus on a different technique. In the end, we will have seven rows that feature everything from strip piecing to half and quarter square triangles. We're even going to dabble in a little bit of machine applique! Then we'll piece the rows together, add some neat borders and have a great lap quilt. I purchased batiks for the sample (one is still missing, but on order....a deep grape purple) and they are pictured above. I can't wait to see this come together and I''m even more excited to help some other ladies make their own! :)
