Brightening Life with Creativity,
one day at a time...
This is the new project the ladies and I have chosen to replace our Row by Row series. (I didn't have time to design one this time.) Isn't it pretty?
It is a medallion sampler quilt designed by Lori Smith. It looks complicated, but is actually pretty straight forward because it mainly uses rotary cut triangles and squares. We will begin in September and probably finish next April or May.
Some of the ladies are going with batiks, but since I did that last time for the Row by Row, I think I might go with more traditional cotton prints. Don't let the word "traditional" fool you though! I think this pattern would be fun to jazz up with some brights! I'll make another post about it once I have my fabrics picked, so check back and see what I come up with!
