Brightening Life with Creativity,
one day at a time...
I always stock up on composition style notebooks when school supplies are in every store and super affordable.
(I know, I know...I shouldn't be talking about that, when this year isn't quite over yet!)
You know the ones I am talking about. They usually have a black and white speckled covers, are a great size, sturdy and oh, so practical!
A simple fabric cover turns a "ho hum" notebook into a great gift!
I've tried different ways to make the covers over the years.
Here are some pics from the latest experiment:
I think the cover possibilities are as endless as your scrap stash, so buy some notebooks the next time they go on sale and try it out! :)
Wow! It's been a while since I've posted!
School is almost over and summer is knocking on the door. :)
For Mother's Day, I made simple sachet sets to give
as gifts to some of the special Mom's in our lives:
Even though these sachets sets weren't hard to make, they were very appreciated! Just goes to show that a little effort goes a long way
in blessing someone's day! :)
