Brightening Life with Creativity,
one day at a time...
"The Power of the Unspoken Word" has been accepted into a juried art exhibit, entitled "When Language Meets Art" at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts in Lubbock, TX!
The exhibit, which will include a broad spectrum of media, will open on December 2nd and run through the end of January, so if you're in the area, stop by and check it out!
I'm so excited for this opportunity to showcase the printing, stamping and
mounting techniques I have been working on!
I have found out some more details about the upcoming exhibit and wanted to share them with you!
There were over 100 entries mainly from Texas, but also from states as far away as New York and Michigan!
Thirty-five were selected and will be exhibited in the Helen DeVitt Jones Studio Gallery at LHUCA in Lubbock from December 4th - January 23rd, 2016. There will be two receptions held during their "First Friday Art Trail" events from 6 - 9 pm on December 4th and January 1st.
If you happen to be in the area, check it out! :-)
