Brightening Life with Creativity,
one day at a time...
Yippee!!! After many months of work and anticipation, my husband and I delivered 20 pieces to the Doss Heritage and Culture Center yesterday! We had the privilege of helping install them as well and it was so exciting to watch the bare wall transform into my exhibit. The curator had some great ideas on spacing and placement and I am really pleased with the final results. Want to see? You'll have to go to Weatherford and visit the museum for yourself! :o) The exhibit opens tomorrow, Feb 12th, and runs through May 12th. The reception will be on March 22nd from 5-7pm. For more info, visit: http://dosscenter.org. Hope to see you there!!!!
My latest two pieces are a donation for the Old Post Office Museum and Art Center's gift shop. All proceeds go to benefit the museum. Both are framed in 8 x 10" shadow boxes. These were a bit of a challenge for me to make due to their small size. I am used to having a little more space to work with! ;o)
