Brightening Life with Creativity,
one day at a time...
Remember how I said in an earlier post that I was thinking of jazzing up the Pieceful Nights pattern with some non traditional fabric? I think I did just that! :)
These colors and fabrics will go great in my daughter's room. This quilt finishes out to 63" square so it should make for a neat "pop" on her twin size bed. She's thrilled!
I'm excited to see this quilt come to life with a completely different and modern twist. I think the group of ladies that I'm teaching will also get a kick out of it.
How often do you feel stuck in a rut? When I feel that way, I purposefully try something outside of what I normally would choose just to "break free"! try it yourself next time! Pick some new colors, try a new technique or just plain experiment on your own. What the worse that could happen? :)
