My wonderful husband surprised me with roses yesterday! I am normally not a rose "fan" but I do really like the antique varieties; those with more than one color on the petals.
As you know by now, I also love using flowers in my fiber art. So I bet you know where this is going...that's right! In the near future a new piece is bound to come from one of these fragrant inspirations and I think I know just the one!
Is that a beauty or what? The yellow and blush colors blend together so smoothly and the shape is just gorgeous! A big thank you to my husband for not only a great Valentine's Day, but also for blessing me with some new inspiration! :-)
